Jack Flash and the Beanstalk

Today we were lucky enough to watch the playhouse perform Jack Flash and the Beanstalk.

Megan Woods visits us

Today Megan Woods came to speak to the senior classes about being a leader in the community.
She talked about it being difficult being a leader because you are recognised in the community, making it more difficult to do regular things in the community like getting the milk. She was inspired by Peter Fraser who was Prime Minister around World War Two. He made education freely available.
She loves to read, watch movies, garden and cook. She loved reading The Magic Faraway Tree, by Enid Blyghton.

Leadership is about being involved and caring about that thing. To be a political leader you need to have a good education.
Courage is needed when you are a leader because some times you have to say difficult things. You need compassion because you need to care about others.
You need to care and do it for the right reasons.
