Swimming lessons are drawing to a close. Today we are learning water safety.      

Life Education

This week we were lucky to spend time in the life Ed van with Harold. We learnt lots about our reputation, and living above the line.   

 

Cross Country

Congratulations to everyone who competed in cross country today. I was super proud.  

Dancing Like the Stars has begun.

 Very excited to have Donna back this year teaching us Salsa. The children are learning quickly and will perform on July 4th at the Theatre Royal. 

Our beautiful Easter Liturgy

Today our class shared the Easter story with the school and community. 

The singing was great and the actors did very well.

Earthquake memorial

6 years ago a lot of lives changed for the worse and Christchurch had to begin to rebuild. Today we remember Ivy who died in the 22 February earthquake. 

May her and all others that lost their lives Rest in Peace.   

 

Assembly today

Really enjoyed watching the class self portraits develop over the week. They have created fantastic art that they are proud of. The children shared today in assembly and parents can come and take a closer look as they are now hanging in class.   

Technology

The children in year 7 really enjoyed their first tech class at Kirkwood yesterday. Group one started in food and group two in wood.

Welcome to Room 6 2017. 

This year is going to be another action packed year.
